You’ll play a critical role in designing, analysing, and ensuring the safety and stability of a wide range of structures. Your expertise will help ensure these structures can withstand everyday loads and extreme forces like wind, earthquakes, and weather—without compromising strength or integrity.

In this role, you will:
Structural Engineering
Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.
Uses knowledge and initiative to devise and implement new approaches to complex engineering problems.
Produces designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity under the guidance of senior staff.
Liaises with drafters to enable preparation of structural documentation.
Liaises and coordinates with builders, architects and services engineers on design issues.
Ensures compliance with applicable Codes and policies – e.g. WHS practices and Quality Assurance.
Any other tasks as reasonably requested by a manager or a director.

Who are we looking for:
This role is ideally suited to someone with:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Member of Engineers Australia, working towards CPEng
At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role is very desirable.
Software: Etabs, Spacegass, RAM, RAPT
Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to prioritise incoming work appropriately
Excellent attention to detail
Professional level of written and verbal communication skills.
