We're looking for a skilled Civil Engineer for our Brisbane office to contribute to the design, planning, and delivery of our infrastructure projects.
This role involves overseeing construction, ensuring compliance with regulations, and solving technical challenges to support the successful execution of projects across transport, water, and structural sectors. Ideal candidates will combine strong engineering knowledge with effective project management and communication skills.
Job Description
In this role You will:
Apply a deep understanding of civil engineering principles to current projects.
Use knowledge and initiative to devise and implement new approaches to complex engineering problems.
Produce designs, documentation, specifications, reports, and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity under the guidance of senior staff.
Monitor projects for fee variations.
Prepare civil documentation.
Liaise and coordinate with builders, developers, Councils, architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors and services engineers on design issues.
Who are we looking for:
This role is ideally suited to someone with:
Strong background in civil engineering, 5+ years of experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
CPEng or working towards obtaining
Membership with Engineers Australia
Good understanding of Authority requirements and relevant Australian standards.
Demonstrated project management skills to deliver on time, within budget and client requirements.
